Cure MCOPS12 Looking Back on 2023
Happy New Year! 🎉 As we bid farewell to 2023, let’s take a moment to celebrate the incredible milestones we’ve achieved together. From initiating the MCOPS12 Natural History Study to funding the proof of concept for our ongoing ASO therapy development, we’ve been on an amazing journey. This year, we successfully completed our first drug repurposing study and are currently fundraising for a groundbreaking second study testing 5000 drugs.
In the spirit of growth and collaboration, we’re thrilled to share that two new sister organizations, “A Cure for Sienna” from Australia and “A Cure for Sophia and Friends” from the United States, have been founded. These partnerships are expanding our reach and amplifying our collective impact, bringing us one step closer to our shared goal of providing hope to MCOPS12 patients and their families.
Our commitment to spreading awareness and collaboration has led us to present our drug development activities at two events, participate in Rare Disease Day Salzburg, and be featured on multiple platforms from Rare Revolution’s Magazine “60 Seconds of Rare” to Medonline’s new series, “The Faces of Rare Diseases”. None of this would have been possible without the incredible support of our community.
As we embark on a new year filled with hope and possibilities, we want to express our deepest gratitude. Thank you for standing by us, for your unwavering support, and for being an essential part of our journey. Here’s to a joyous and prosperous New Year!
